“ As soon as I walked into this restaurant I was assaulted by very delicious smells. That rarely happens for me where I notice it that much! The food was also very good! The Tokyo roll became the star for my friend and I, as it became an easy top favorite food! The crunch and creaminess to it was just what we wanted. I do want to give a warning!! If you have the flying fish roe with wasabi it WILL hurt your nose! I like wasabi, but this was WAY too much for me. My friend and I had one at the same time and wow the insides of my nose burned badly! It caused us both to tear up. Some strange pains with that as well. But I am glad I had the experience! I know not to have it again. Ahahaha. The only negative is that we got two extra salmon nigiri that we didn't order (and it was on the bill) and I watched my friend write "2" on the sheet. We didn't complain or ask to have it taken off the bill (I'm sure they would have) as we ate them anyways (and just under $3 per piece). Besides that I highly recommend this place! It's 30 minutes out of my way but I want to go back. ”

“ First visit, thumbs up - 4 stars. I was in the area and craving sushi so I stopped in to try Misono for an early dinner, late lunch. First of all, the restaurant is very nice, clean, and modern looking. I sat in the bar area. I arrived well before the usual dinner rush time but they were already hopping. Despite being busy, the service was excellent. Compliments to the bar tender...who was running around like a mad man. BTW, Misono has a full bar. Nice. Second, my sushi was very good and bursting with flavors. The fresh ingredients were obvious. I grabbed some hot green tea, hot sour soup, and 3 styles of tuna based sushi rolls. Yum! LOW CARBOHYDRATE: Finally, it was easy to eat low-carb, keto-style at Misono. I stuck with my usual sushi rolls. I didn't get anything deep fried in gross vegetable seed oils or anything with added sugar. I also avoid large rice portions and noodles. My blood sugar likes it that way. FYI, I was surprised that the hostess actually wanted to be in my first photograph of the interior. After nearly 1000 Yelp reviews, she is only the second person that wanted to be in one of my photos! That shows confidence along with a great personality. I'm sorry I didn't make a note of her name but she was very nice. There were two standout employees, the hostess and the bar tender. Thank you. I had a pleasant visit and I'd go back again any time. I have had some with a tomato and some with a slightly richer sauce, but this is still a worthy starter salad. 3.75/5 onion soup: I'm not really an onion soup guy, but this had a very nurturing, warm and smooth taste. it is perfect when you have been outside in 30° weather for five hours. 4/5. Shrimp, tempura roll: I just wanted a basic sushi roll, and it was quite tasty. No issues here and nothing really else to mention. 3.5/5 Filet mignon and scallops hibachi dinner: The meat was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Sometimes you go to a place and they will serve you pretty cheap and fatty cuts. This was all tasteful and lean meat. The vegetables were nice and hearty. The fried rice wasn't the most flavorful, but I smothered it in yum yum sauce. The scallops were perfectly cooked. I am not really a scallop guy, so I gave some of them to the rest of the table. 4/5 Green Matcha fried ice cream: this was an absolute monster. This could probably be shared by two possibly three, depending on how full you are. The fried outer shell is good, but if you don't share this, then you possibly will get a stomachache. . ”

“ Stopped in for lunch. They had a great looking menu with plenty of options. We ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai and the Beef Pad Sea Ew. The portions were huge. We took home leftovers that will be enough for 2 more meals each. We ordered mild spice, which turned out to be a little spicer than a typical mild spice. They were both swimming in sauce, which made them a little "sloppy" to eat. Even with that, we really enjoyed the flavor and taste of the dishes. We had good service, and the restaurant was neat and clean. Will definitely go back and try the sushi and other items. ”

“ Food 4/5 - Misono is always great takeout! I ordered the Soft spring roll (comes with peanut sauce), Spicy crab salad, Spicy salmon and spicy tuna roll. Everything was fresh and packaged neatly. Why I am giving a 4/5 is because the crab salad and sushi rolls lacked spice in my opinion but overall really great food. Service/Ambiance 5/5 - The service for takeout was quick and easy. ”

“ We stopped in for lunch and were seated right away and able to order promptly. Our waitress was really nice. For an app, we ordered the Squid Yaki. For meals we selected the Chicken Lo Mein, Crunch Roll and King Dragon Roll. Took off one star because: a) app came out at the same time as the lo mein; b) chicken in the lo mein was overcooked; c) had to hunt down our own forks & napkins and then wait to ask for chopsticks. The Squid Yaki was tasty and the portion was plentiful! The two rolls had amazing flavor and we'd definitely order them again. ”
